It's 5 miles to the Atlantic Ocean Beach. Traffic not worth the drive suggest if traveling for fun on the beach, find closer BW.
This property is extremely nice. Comfortable bed, clean room. Friendly staff. Compared to the previous place, we stayed , it's perfect. Our friends did change rooms, there was a smell we couldn't identify, but staff quickly and graciously moved them. If we ever have to stay in a motel again, we will stay here. A clean room, comfortable bed, and friendly staff are very important to weary families traveling, business travelers, and folks just needing a temporary place to stay while moving. I recommend this Best Western!!!
We have booked here before but it's been a few years and it was a pleasant visit both times. The reviews it gets are high because of the clean lobby to the hallways to the continental breakfast area to our room. Very friendly service and atmosphere plus affordable and within a few miles from Atlantic Beach and Jax Beach.
I had a good experience there. My room was clean. Some of the negatives: I noticed the shower tub was getting clogged up while I was taking a shower, the water wasn’t draining properly, but I did notify the front desk. Also the next day, I noticed a couple of spiders that were crawling in the tub as well. Near the door the carpet was ripped around the edge but other than that everyone was really nice. Breakfast was good and it felt nice as I was coming up to checkout, that the front desk lady remembered my name. I would definitely stay there again.
Pretty decent for the price paid.nice and clean wit comfortable bed . We took it jus for a night since our apartment was not ready to move in to. But yes this place is a good stay. Wit variety of breakfast choices which was included in package.
We were in town to relax at the beach for a few days. The hotel was perfect for so many different things. Including, a walk across the street for some awesome ramen and chicken! Neptune and Atlantic Beach do not have great parking or easy beach access, but Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park nearby was absolutely amazing! The price for entry was pretty low, and with my Veteran's discount it was really inexpensive. Would definitely recommend taking stuff to do a barbecue since there are so many places set up for it at the park. The food scene in Atlantic Beach was a little overpriced, but if we come back we would probably go to Jax Beach since there were a lot more options for casual dining and easy beach access.
